In addition, the cloud allows us to access the same files and applications from almost any device, since computing and storage processes take place on various servers; that is, they are easily accessible remotely.
For example, a user could access any of their social networks, such as Facebook, from a new device and continue to have access to their usual account, with their photos, videos, publications and conversation history.
It works the same way with cloud email providers like Gmail and Outlook, and cloud storage providers like Dropbox or Google Drive.
So, as you can see, to use cloud computing you only need two key elements, which are: the service itself, and having Internet access on your computer, tablet, or cell phone.

The backend is handled by the service provider offering the cloud software. It includes the major system components, such as hardware and storage, and is often located in a server farm at a geographically distant location.
Instead, the frontend is the part that the end user interacts with. It usually takes the form of a user interface, and is an integral part of the customer experience with cloud computing software.
In addition, in the operation of the cloud we can find a technology known as virtualization, which allows the creation of a virtual, simulated and digital computer that behaves as if it were a physical one with its own hardware.
Another characteristic of cloud computing is that its servers are usually available at all times. As a rule, cloud providers back up their services on multiple machines and in multiple regions, in case individual servers go down.
Mainly, there are three types of computing clouds: public, private and hybrid, which are designed to meet the needs of all types of organizations and individuals. Having said that, let’s go into detail with each of them.

Typically, companies put their most sensitive files and information in the private cloud, leaving the public cloud for less critical resources.
