Fiction Vs Non Fiction

How are you? Did you have a nice weekend?

I spent mine reading some extremely interesting books. Some were fiction and some were non fiction. In my opinion, fictional books are a lot more fun to read than non fictional books.

I think this is because fictional books allow you to enter the world of imagination. They make you create pictures in your head of what is happening, using the description in the book. This is fundamental if you want to have a thorough understanding of books. For example in the Hobbit, a book by J.R.R. Tolkien, there is so much description that you can picture scenes easily and feel as though you are watching it all happen.

I also really love fictional stories because they can sometimes be extremely funny. They help you develop a sense of humor which makes you a popular person with your family and friends. For example in the Mystery of the Strange Bundle, a book by Enid Blyton, there are many funny jokes, pranks and disguises that amused me a lot and I had a great time reading it.

Moreover, in my opinion, even if fictional books are scary you are reassured that the situation is not true. This helps because if you read the book before bedtime you do not have bad dreams or thoughts. For example in the Fellowship of the Ring, also a book by J.R.R. Tolkien, some parts are quite scary but I knew that they were not real, so I could enjoy the story thoroughly and not worry about being scared by it.

To conclude, I think you should read fiction books much more than non fiction books because they are immensely entertaining and they attach you to them. If you have a hobby for reading I would advise you to read fiction books any day, any time.
