Rebellion

They wanted me to rebel,

against their atrocities,

which they committed,

mainly to provoke me.

I knew they were wrong,

that they needed to be stopped,

Or Brutus would once again

finish Caesar off.

But I also knew their wants

and to rebel would be to conform.

To accept their expectations,

To give them the control.

And thus, I feigned

Indifference.

because not rebelling at all

Was my rebellion.
